Social Media Plan

As a healthcare professional I think I am not obligate to have a social media presence but if I do, it is to expand my knowledge in the digital era. A good social media presence balances personal expression in a professional standard that reflect my personal ideas. That I may share my personality and hobbies on it. I will base my social media presence on professional ethics. I will always maintain patient confidentiality, never talk online about patients. This includes not sharing images, articles, or remarks that violate patient or family privacy.

I shall also follow the Nursing Code of Ethics, which stresses patient well-being.

My moral and ethical role as a healthcare professional, I am not obligated to speak in the public concerning issues arising from healthcare but if I will, a consent is required.
