Childhood obesity is a significant public health concern because it poses serious short- and long-term risks to both individual well-being and public healthcare systems. The World Health Organization (WHO, 2024) characterized health promotion as a process whereby people are enabled to increase control over, and to improve their health in any possible ways such as education and the use of the community.
